Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to your most common questions about senior care
Getting Started
How do I know if my loved one needs senior care?
Signs that your loved one may benefit from care include difficulty with daily activities (bathing, dressing, cooking), memory problems, safety concerns at home, social isolation, or caregiver burnout. If you're unsure, our free consultation can help assess their needs.
What's the first step in getting care services?
The first step is to schedule a free, no-obligation consultation. We'll discuss your loved one's needs, answer your questions, and if desired, arrange an in-home assessment to create a personalized care plan.
How quickly can services begin?
In most cases, we can begin services within 24-48 hours after completing the initial assessment and care plan. Emergency situations may be accommodated even faster.
About Our Caregivers
What qualifications do your caregivers have?
All caregivers pass comprehensive background checks, have relevant experience in senior care, and complete our extensive training program. Many hold certifications such as CNA, HHA, or specialized dementia care training. Our nurses are fully licensed RNs or LPNs.
Can I choose my caregiver?
Yes! We carefully match caregivers with clients based on care needs, personality, interests, and preferences. If you'd like to meet potential caregivers before services begin, we're happy to arrange introductions.
What if my caregiver is sick or unavailable?
We always have backup caregivers available. If your regular caregiver is unavailable, we'll send a qualified substitute who has been briefed on your loved one's care needs. We strive to maintain consistency by using a small team familiar with your loved one.
What if we're not satisfied with our caregiver?
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you're not happy with your caregiver for any reason, please let us know and we'll work to find a better match. There's no penalty for requesting a change.
